I think kids being able to access technology is huge. It is a big step as teachers to implement tech into learning because most jobs require being able to know how to use tech now. Along with implementing the technology there needs to be some things taught with it. One of those is how to balance your time and knowing when to use it. Most kids now grow up with an ipad or something along those lines so teaching them the balance for not just school.

For teachers, teaching the balance is so important for technology, but it doesn’t just stop there, they need the help in finding the balance in life. As a teacher it is so much bigger than teaching the standards. You are helping shape people and who they become. This assignment has helped that realization set in. As a teacher I want to be the one kids can come to and talk if they need it. We all remember that one teacher we had. I want that.

This is a google site that i made in class that has tools for teachers to use if they don’t know or have any tools to use in their classroom to incorporate technology into their lessons. I think teachers should be using more technology in their classrooms because most things now are going online so kids need to know how to use tech is so important in their lives now. So this site gives teachers a few tools to use in the class to get kids into technology a little bit.

I think it is so important that teachers use different tools to teach kids about tech in many ways. Just using tech to teach other things will help kids learn more about tech. But using all these different sites will help because kids all learn differently and the different tools might connect with them in different ways. As a teacher I want to be the one that isn’t afraid to try something new so using new sites would be my thing.
